School counselors are certified/licensed educators with a minimum of a master’s degree in school counseling. Intervention Counselors in the middle and high schools are Licensed Professional Counselors and Licensed Master Social Workers with clinical experience related to mental health issues. Counselors are vital members of the education team. They help all students in the areas of academic achievement; personal/social development and career development, ensuring today's students become the productive, well-adjusted adults of tomorrow.
