Thank you for visiting the Wildcat Band website!  Please check our website regularly for important information and updates.  You will also find the links to the left very helpful for your band student throughout the year. 
 
One of the wonderful things about music is that you can spend your entire life studying it. You can develop near superhuman skills...but there is still room for improvement.   
 
Band class is not like any other class you can take at Wayside. We operate like a family. We do a lot of wonderful, funny, crazy stuff and our students are among the MOST well behaved, well mannered and smartest students you will meet anywhere. We pride ourselves on not only being good musicians, but also good and responsible citizens. We will have some fun and we will work hard to be the best we can be. You will have the chance to prove how smart, dedicated and diligent you can be on a daily basis!
 
 
LATEST WILDCAT ANNOUNCEMENTS...

  •  Spring Band Concert for ALL band students is scheduled for Tuesday, May 15th.  This is a required performance by all band members.  Details to follow.
  • If you are interested in attending EMS-ISD Summer Band Camp, please click here .  
  • Our reward trip to Six Flags has been rescheduled for Friday, May 25th.  Please mark your calendar.  This trip is for ELIGIBLE members of SB and HB.
  • The Beginner Band students will have a chance to attend our MAIN EVENT trip on Monday, May 21st.  Students must be ELIGIBLE to attend this reward trip.  Please mark your calendar. Details to follow.
  • Any "take home" instruments will be due back to Wayside by May 17th.  
  • Attention Honor Band members:  Don't forget that you are responsible for turning in ONE Scale Tracker each six weeks for a grade.
