Melanie Stitt
 Melanie Stitt, Principal
I am very honored to begin my 22nd year in education as the principal of Watson High School and ADC.  I earned my Bachelor's, Master's, and Specialist degrees from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, Arkansas. My 7 years of teaching included 7th grade math, 8th grade math, Algebra I, Algebra II, and Geometry.  This begins my 14th year as an administrator.  I was a middle school assistant principal for 4 1/2 years before being named the principal of Comanche Springs Elementary School in 2007 and the principal of Ed Willkie Middle School in 2009.   This is my second year as the principal of Watson/ADC.
I am married to a wonderful middle school coach from Keller and have a daughter and a step son, so we lead a very busy life.
My goal is for every Watson student to graduate from high school and to assist our ADC students successfully complete their assignment, so they may return to their home campus as quickly as possible.
We look forward to working with all our parents, students, and community members this year.  If you have questions, concerns, or comments, please contact me at
