Eagle Mountain-Saginaw ISD Facts

Over 16,000 students will live, work, learn and grow in the Eagle Mountain-Saginaw Independent School District this year.  EM-S ISD is fully accredited by both the Texas Education Agency and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement (SACS/CASI).  In fact, EM-S ISD is one of only four school districts in the state of Texas to hold a district accreditation from SACS/CASI.

The Eagle Mountain-Saginaw Independent School District encompasses 73 square miles in the Northwest corner of Tarrant County.  The district serves Saginaw, Blue Mound, portions of the City of Fort Worth, and unincorporated Tarrant County.  Students are enrolled, enriched, and educated in fourteen elementary schools, five middle schools, two high schools, an alternative learning center, and an early childhood center.

EM-S ISD is among one of the fastest growing school districts in the area.  We will be opening High School #3 in 2012 and our new Sarah Hollenstein Career and Technology Center in 2011.

With the hard work and dedication of highly competent classroom teachers and students, the district continually performs well on state exams and is successful in preparing students to excel after high school.
