Congratulations!
Paige DeBacco, a 9th grader on the Rough Riders' Varsity Girls Golf team, was selected as one of only 52 girls in the United States to represent "The First Tee of Fort Worth and Saginaw HS".  She will spend a week in Hilton Head, South Carolina with other golfers from the US.  They will participate and receive free lessons from Hank Haney!  He is considered to be one of the top five teaching pros in the PGA tour.  She leaves the first week of June on all-expense-paid trip.  Paige just recently won the team's MVP trophy for having the best scoring average for this golf season!

Congratulations!
Jackie Gomez and Courtney Williams, two Senior Varsity Girls Golf team members, were selected last week to each receive a $1000.00 scholarship for college!  The scholarship was given to them by the LPGA professional golfer, Angela Stanford, a Top 10 ranked player on the tour.  Angela graduated and played golf at Boswell HS and TCU.

    We are having fundraising nights for our Key Club’s Relay for Life team!  The dates of the fundraiser are May 25th and June 2nd. All they have to do is tell their server that they are there for Relay for Life. They will give us 15% of the tickets for each night and it will go to Relay for Life!!

    Gill Scholarship forms for Summer school are available in the counseling office. There are a limited number of scholarships, so get the application, fill it out, and return it to the counseling office ASAP!  GILL WILL NOT ACCEPT APPLICATIONS ONCE SUMMER SCHOOL REGISTRATION HAS BEGUN.
