Monday's kick-off event at Hafley Development Center featured music performances by the Prairie Vista MS band, cheer and dance routines by Chisolm Trail Cheer, and song and drumming performances by the 4-year-olds from EMS ISD Child Care.
Congratulations to 8th graders Jacob Frizzell and Shelby Hansen for earning $2,500 college scholarships from the Bobby Bragan Youth Foundation for 2017. Of the 248 applications received from the DFW area, only 34 students were selected as recipients.

The Saginaw mens' Gymnastics team competed at the Regional Gymnastics meet at Richland High School on April 4-5. Senior Maison Leck set a school record with three perfect 10's during the two-day competition and led the team to a victory.
