A total of 33 students in the Law Enforcement and Forensic Science program at the Hollenstein Career and Technology Center are headed to state contest after dominating in the Texas Public Service Association (TPSA) Northwest Region competition. The regional contest, which was hosted in Mount Pleasant, TX, provided the opportunity for students from across several counties to compete in the areas of public service including law enforcement, forensic science, security, corrections, and court systems.
Representing all four EMS ISD high schools, the HCTC students earned first, second, and third-place in team and individual events. A list of the specific awards and winners is below. All 33 students now will represent the northwest region at the state contest April 7-8 in El Paso.
