EMS students and staff donate more than 30 thousand books
Books were collected on all EMS ISD campuses during the EMS has a Heart for Reading book drive, which took place February 7-21. Students and staff donated more than 30 thousand books to be shared with elementary students at the District Reading Festivals taking place at our high school campuses on Monday, April 10.
A contest took place during the book drive between our elementary campuses, middle schools, and high schools as a friendly competition to see which schools could bring in the most book donations. Eagle Mountain Elementary won the elementary school contest, Creekview won the middle school contest, and Boswell won out of the high schools.
