Saginaw Mens' Gymnastics team earns regional championship for 8th consecutive year

The Saginaw boys' Gymnastics team competed at the Regional Gymnastics meet where they earned championship status for the eighth consecutive year. The meet was hosted at Richland High School on April 4-5.
The Rough Riders started off strong on day one of the regional meet. In addition, senior Maison Leck set a school record with three perfect 10's during the two-day competition and helped lead the team to a victory.
Other highlights from the the meet include:
Josh Bounkham:  Regional Champion on Pommel Horse and Parallel Bars
Elijah Nucum:  Regional Champion on Vault
Maison Leck:  Regional Champion on Rings, High Bar and in the All-Around.

The Saginaw Men's Gymnastics team remains undefeated for the year. Their final competition of the year will be at the State Gymnastics meet April 28-29 at Permian High School in Odessa.
Additionally, the Lady Rough Rider Gymnastics team will send All-Arounder Marybel Pina to the State meet. Good luck to all our state-bound competitors!
